Sunday Night Potters Clay

Sunday night brought the Flag Springs Church a message both in words and in Illustration and example by Rev Terry and Ginger Vines who are talented pottery makers.

Brother Terry was raised in the Louisiana area. They carry an important message along with their pottery equipment as well as their finished art work when they travel from Church to Church ministering. Their simple demonstration on how God can take a piece of useless clay and mold and shape it into some thing beautiful is the beauty of their personal message to all Christians and all men and women.

Brother Terry commented on the well known scriptures of how the woman with an issue of blood problems was rejected by the religious Jewish laws, but received of Jesus because of her faith and trust in his deity as the Son of God.

He also covered how we have missed opportunities to witness to others concerning Christ and how our lives are an open book when we Praise him even in times of trouble, sorrow and pain.
His ability and professionalism when working with clay, shaping, molding and forming it into something useful was well received by the adults and especially the children who were anxious to have a closer look at what he had produced and how he did it.

Here is a small sample of his finished work on the pottery illustrating what God wants to do in your life also if you will let him. Remember, God is in the business of taking what others think is little or nothing and making it into another Billy Graham when we will let him.
