Since my last article on the Ten Commandments of God our traffic has greatly increased from all over the world as a new generation of young have been deprived of a simple set of laws in which America or any nation can use as a guide to better their society.

Pastor Smith has produced 10 messages on each of the ten commandments found here in Pulpit ministries and on ustream both links found on our front page. These simple set of laws given to the Jewish people after being released from slavery and received by the prophet and leader Moses is found in Exodus 20th chapter of the old testament.

The Jewish people known as Israel were to form a nation of righteous people with the responsibility to keep God’s Holy name alive among a world of ever increasing people who would choose sin over righteousness. The first of those great commandments were, “Thou Shall have no other gods before me,” has always been a stumbling block in a materialistic modern world who rejects his existence for a secular world in which no accountability has to be given for breaking the other 9 commandments.

This is most evident in the last 100 years as several nations have chosen a governing godless society shrouded by a secular government known as communism and which are known to launch severe persecution against its citizens who choose to acknowledge God’s existence through this son Jesus Christ.

That attack in the courts has cleverly begun in America in the last 100 years by such covert organizations as the FFAF (Freedom from religion foundation) and the American Atheists whose stated objectives across the Internet is to bring down what they perceive as an out dated bronze age institution.

Madalyn Murray O’Hair (April 13, 1919 – September 29, 1995 is best known for the “Murray v. Curlett” lawsuit, which led to a landmark Supreme Court ruling ending government-sponsored prayer in American public schools in the 60s. Her organization continues her objectives as can be seen in the news daily of removing not only public prayer but the 10 commandments of God which have been the foundation of the Judeo-Christian teachings and much adopted by the founding fathers of America.

But again we are reminded of the scripture that warns us that, 2TI 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

These organizations will tell you with a callous smile that it is not an attack on Christianity, but that they are only protecting all Americans from the intrusion of religion into government. The same government that has been guided by the Ten Commandments since America’s foundation. The Ten Commandments they say is OK except for the first two or three which make references to a creator and insist America never had any association with Judeo-Christian foundations.

Deuteronomy 4:13
And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

Numbers 15:22
And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,

Exodus 16:28
And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?

Psalm 8
1 O Lord, our Lord, how wonderful is thy name in all the earth! for thy magnificence is exalted above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou perfected praise, because of thine enemies; that thou mightest put down the enemy and avenger.
3 For I will regard the heavens, the work of thy fingers; the moon and stars, which thou hast established.
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 Thou madest him a little less than angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honour;
6 and thou hast set him over the works of thy hands: thou hast put all things under his feet:
7 sheep and all oxen, yea and the cattle of the field;
8 the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea, the [creatures] passing through the paths of the sea.

Deuteronomy 6:1-9
1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
2 That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

These precious laws were given to all men to assist them in a constructing a righteous government and in the Christian Church or a even a religion like Islam. But they are being violently attacked by an ever increasing secular humanist society of minorities who wants to move America to the same place that North Korea, China, Laos, Cambodia and Cuba have succumb to.

Remember the greatest of those commandments is given to us by the Lord himself.

MR 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

MR 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

MR 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

MR 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Remember. This Gospel message we preach is not Flag Springs Church or the Catholic Church or any religious organizations Gospel message. This message of the Good News and governed by the Ten Commandments is the gospel message of Jesus Christ. That message is clear in that we can have life and life more abundantly. But if if we become a nation that forgets God and tramples his 10 commandments under foot, we become a nation that will find itself slowly sinking into the quicksand where death awaits.
